TRAINING GAMES
I would like talk here about the most of my professional activity, not necessarily linked to the academic subjects or to my collaborations with the university. I refer to what we do in Training Games.
I founded Training Games in 1995 with the aim of making the training more effective through experimentation and more fun through games. Since then we have created and taught courses, designed games, program simulators and collaborated with excellent professionals in other specialties with whom we share the enthusiasm of the active training.
The origins were the games and the simulators. For the design of the simulators I used a software based on System Dynamics, it introduced me to the Systems Thinking, through it I went into the Systems Theory and then to the Complexity Theory.
At the same time I had the fortune to receive the order to make a simulator for improving interdepartmental relationships from the company Dannon (in 1997!). The result of two years of work was Synergy, a son who has not stopped growing and giving me joys.
Other directions led to us to the development of tools or seminars with different objectives, sometimes related to sales, others with leadership, others with communication, team work, proactivity, trust,… in other cases the application was made to measure, for internal issues, their own courses … but always with an end in the mind, make of the training something interactive and fun.
At present we cover four broad areas, able of respond to more strategic needs based primarily on the training, or more tactics, focusing on motivational actions or interaction.
- Action/ Experientiel Learning
- Outdoor Training
- Events (motivation and interrelation)
- Simulation & Gaming
